  • Please avoid active skincare products such as retinoids, exfoliating acids, and benzoyl peroxide for 5–7 days prior to any corrective treatment unless otherwise directed. If possible, arrive with no makeup on the treatment area. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, or waxing the treatment area before corrective services.

  • Downtime typically ranges from 24–72 hours. You may experience redness, mild swelling, flaking, and sensitivity similar to a sunburn. Post-care instructions must be followed to ensure proper healing and optimal results. Faster recovery options, such as Plated Calm Serum, may be added to your service.

  • While some improvement may be seen after one session, a series of 3–6 treatments, followed by maintenance treatments every 3–4 months, is recommended for acne scarring, texture irregularities, and advanced skin concerns to achieve visible, long-term results.

  • Downtime varies depending on peel strength. Light peels may cause mild dryness or flaking, while stronger peels may result in more visible peeling. Sun protection and home-care compliance are essential for proper healing and results.

  • Both treatments use a specialized device with very small tips to stimulate the skin, but they work at different depths and are used for different goals.

Nano-needling works only on the surface of the skin. The tiny, rounded tips gently stimulate the top layer without breaking the skin or causing bleeding. Because the skin is not punctured, there is no downtime. Nano-needling improves hydration, smoothness, and brightness and enhances the absorption of professional serums. It is often chosen for gentle skin refresh and maintenance.

Microneedling works deeper in the skin by creating controlled micro-channels that stimulate collagen production and the skin’s natural repair process. It is better suited for concerns such as acne scarring, uneven texture, fine lines, and loss of firmness. Because it penetrates the skin, microneedling is more intensive and may involve redness and 3–7 days of recovery.

Some corrective treatments at Sada Skin Studio may be eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement when deemed medically necessary. Eligibility is determined solely by your individual HSA/FSA plan. Treatments that address a medical skin condition, such as acne or acne-related inflammation, may be eligible with a valid Letter of Medical Necessity from a licensed medical provider.

Examples may include acne-focused chemical peels, microneedling for acne scarring, or participation in an acne treatment program.

To submit for HSA/FSA reimbursement, you will need a detailed receipt from Sada Skin Studio. Some plans may also require a Letter of Medical Necessity from your medical provider. Eligibility and reimbursement decisions are made by your HSA/FSA plan administrator.

A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is a document provided by a licensed medical provider stating that a specific treatment is being used to treat a diagnosed medical condition. Some HSA/FSA plans require this documentation for reimbursement.

You do not need to provide an LMN prior to booking unless required by your plan. Clients are responsible for confirming eligibility and documentation requirements with their HSA/FSA administrator.
